The micro:bit is a pocket-sized computer that lets you get creative with digital technology. The Hummingbird Bit Robotics Kit and Finch Robot 2.0 are powered by the micro:bit. You may want to purchase additional micro:bits for projects that use radio functionality.
The micro:bit is sold in two ways:
- micro:bit (no accessories) - $21
- micro:bit + AAA battery pack + 6 inch USB cable
(batteries not included) - $25
A micro USB cable is required to use a micro:bit, but our cable is not unique - you may already have one. A battery pack for the micro:bit is required only if you do not want to remain tethered to a computer by USB.
Product Compatibility: The micro:bit is compatible with the Hummingbird Duo (previous model), but it requires an additional adapter.
